Right Hand Man is that old, reliable pickup in your grandparents’ garage that fires up lickety-split when you turn the key and rev the engine. I know that any time I’m in need, my Right Hand Man will know the road home and deliver me safely there. I cut my teeth on Central Coast Syrah, which is my refuge. May it be yours as well. 

VINIFICATION

3-5 day cold soak, followed by pump-overs 3 times a day during fermentation. Pressed into neutral French 500-L puncheons and 265-L barriques. 5% whole clusters. Aged 10 months.

TASTING NOTES

Plum sauce, mulberry, café au lait, gingerbread, sweet olive, tuberose, tellicherry peppercorn, singed rosemary, nori, pâté. The palate is soft, supple, and alluring, with well-integrated fine and polished tannins coast to a suave, elegant finish.
