Tasting Notes
The cooler growing season warranted a larger percentage of Syrah to bolster the late ripening, savory Mourvèdre. Similar to L’Ange Rouge, the Alta Mesa soil imparts a soft texture—balancing the youthful tannins. Ripe plums, black cherries, cranberries, black pepper, olive brine, sea salt, game meats, rich, umami flavors, mouthwatering, savory finish.
