2022 Larner Viognier
Located in Ballard Canyon’s westernmost area, coastal winds and fog layers combine to produce one of the coolest spots in the entire Santa Ynez Valley. The Larner’s 33 acres are planted to Syrah, Grenache, and Viognier in addition to the "Larner Clone" Grenache and Malvasia Bianca.

Tasting Notes
Clementine marmalade, fresh-cut pineapple, lychee, chamomile tea, jasmine, acacia honey, sea salt, meringue, browned butter. The wine has a supple yet lively approach, with a broad and lifted palate that leads to a tactile and resonant finish.
Production Notes
This vintage was whole cluster pressed into stainless steel. The juice was cold-settled and racked off the initial solids into neutral barrique and one new acacia puncheon for primary fermentation. Partial malolactic fermentation. Aged 12 months in barrel before bottling.
