Mac's Bordeaux-Rhône blend!  Renamed in 2021 as F.A. "a thing that has already happened or been decided before those affected hear about it. Leaving them with no option but to accept it." 

Paso Robles is known for being a fantastic climate for growing Rhône's and Cabernet Sauvignon, and this is a blend of our Estate Vineyard, Paper Street, and Armory.  The Cab, Syrah, and Petit Verdot coming off of these vineyards are too good to do anything other than their own bottling, which is why it is a Fait Accompli.  

Vinification: 

Components were destemmed, fermented in stainless steel tanks and small, open-top bins, spending between 15-20 days on skins, with a combination of pumpovers and punchdowns during cold soak and fermentation. Aged 20 months in 225-L and 265-liter barriques, 40% of which were new.

Tasting Notes:

Black currant, boysenberry, gingerbread, incense, cardamom, Mansinilla olive, bordelaise sauce, pencil shavings, supple, round, generous, immensely gratifying finish.

95 Points, Robert Parker - The nose is bursting with pure, detailed cassis, blackberry jam, mint chocolate, rose petal, charcuterie and iron. The full-bodied palate offers an impressive array of multicolored fruit, spice and floral layers. It has finely grained tannins, bright acidity and a long, complex finish that calls you back to the glass.
