Located in Ballard Canyon’s westernmost area, coastal winds and fog layers combine to produce one of the coolest spots in the entire Santa Ynez Valley. The Larner’s 33 acres are planted to Syrah, Grenache, and Viognier in addition to the "Larner Clone" Grenache and Malvasia Bianca.

Tasting Notes
Plum sauce, blackberry, olive, honeysuckle, cigar wrapper, rosemary oil, raspberry liqueur, smoked meat, salted licorice, white pepper, and peach berry cobbler. The palate is luxurious, broad, and supple, with an undercurrent of stone fruit. The finish is savory, mineral, and generous.
Production Notes
35% whole cluster fermented in small, open top bins, 20 days on skins, with a combination of pump overs during cold soak and punchdowns during fermentation. Aged 20 months in 265 liter barriques, 85% in new oak.
